Davide Biglieni

was born in San Giovanni Bianco (Bergamo, Italy) on April 23, 1986. He graduated with top honors from the Istituto Musicale Pareggiato “Gaetano Donizetti” of Bergamo in the academic year 2007/2008, under the guidance of Professor Ermes Giussani.

He further refined his artistic training through masterclasses with internationally renowned trombonists including Joseph Alessi, Rex Martin, Stefan Schulz, Andrea Conti, Andrea Bandini, Jacques Mauger, Gianluca Gagliardi, Daniele Morandini, Vincent Lepape, Jordi Albert, and Ian Bousfield.

He was awarded two scholarships granted by the Province of Bergamo and by the Conservatory “Gaetano Donizetti” of Bergamo in recognition of his artistic merit. Through competitive auditions, he achieved eligibility for the Orchestra Sinfonica di Savona, the Orchestra Giovanile Italiana, and the Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala in Milan.

Throughout his career, he has collaborated with numerous prestigious institutions, including the Orchestra Giovanile Italiana, Orchestra Giovanile Luigi Cherubini, Bergamo Musica Festival Orchestra, Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana, Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, I Pomeriggi Musicali, I Solisti Veneti, Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, the Orchestra della Toscana, the Cameristi della Scala, and the Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala in Milan.

A member of the Mascoulisse Quartet since 2015, he has been a Trombone Instructor at the Masterbrass Academysince the same year. Since 2023, he has held the position of Principal Trombone of the Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana.
