He began his musical studies at the Luca Marenzio Conservatory in Brescia under the guidance of Guido Delmonte, graduating with honors in 2009. He continued his training at the Conservatory of Aosta, where he specialized in both tenor and bass trombone with Vincent Lepape.
Throughout his formative years, he refined his artistic vision through studies and masterclasses with leading international figures including Ian Bousfield, Stefan Schulz, Michel Becquet, Christian Lindberg, and Joseph Alessi.
His professional career led to collaborations with prominent Italian orchestras and institutions such as Teatro Regio di Torino and I Pomeriggi Musicali in Milan, alongside extensive activity in chamber ensembles spanning repertoire from the classical tradition to contemporary music.
Driven by a commitment to artistic growth, he moved to the Netherlands to continue his specialization at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, focusing on bass trombone under the mentorship of Raymond Munnecom, Jörgen van Rijen, Pierre Volders, and Ben van Dijk. During this period, he was selected to perform with prestigious ensembles including the Dutch National Youth Orchestra (NJO) and the Lucerne Festival Academy Orchestra.
Expanding his artistic scope into historical performance practice, he completed a Master’s degree in Baroque and Renaissance Trombone at the Utrecht Conservatory, studying with Adam Woolf. His dedication to early music has led to collaborations with internationally acclaimed ensembles such as the Baroque Orchestra of the Italian Swiss Radio (RSI), I Barocchisti, and Les Musiciens du Prince, among others.
He has appeared at major European festivals and concert halls, recording for distinguished labels including Decca Classics and Arcana–Outhere Music. His artistic partnerships include performances alongside renowned artists such as Javier Camarena, Cecilia Bartoli, and Philippe Jaroussky.
Alongside his performing career, he is deeply engaged in education. He serves on the faculty of the Department of Early Music in Brescia (DipMusAnt), where he teaches Historical Trombone. He is also the founder of Ensemble Zenit, an ensemble dedicated to the exploration and promotion of early music repertoire.
